Delving into something new for us. Scallywag has obtained a small Journeyman Last Feather Rye barrel from some very dear friends. We have completely re-written the recipe for Chocolate Frosted Hops to make it a double/imperial milk stout and will be filling the barrel with that. We've brewed up about 20 gallons of the beer. 15 gallons will be put into the barrel to age on ancho chilies and liquid cacao. The other 5 gallons is currently in secondary on ancho and chocolate and will be going into the standard bottle/keg format to be imbibed. Only a few bottles are set for reserve at the moment, and as always we are happy to share with anyone that wants to try.
